OK I talked to my brother today. They did send him home last night, they've asked him to go and see a specialist about his heart. Once the swelling goes down in his eye they will remove the pellet. It's quiet swollen but he's OK, he tried to open it to see out of it but could not *n00b* I told him to leave it alone and to listen to the doctors. Or he could lose the eye completely.

Here's what he said happened.

They were goofing around with the pellet gun, he was carrying a stack of CD cases and the gun, it was loaded but he was holding it by the barrel he set the gun down to set the CD cases up and the gun discharged. It is one of those old school spring loaded pump action guns, the trigger is probably really sensitive and when he put it down thats all it needed. He said his eye was open when it hit, so I'm not sure exactly the extent of the damage. We do know that the pellet is behind his eye in the socket. So please everyone keep him in your prayers/thoughts whatever were hoping that the extent of the damage is done and that he will not lose site in his eye. He said he was going to try and send me a picture, he'd get Cait to take it if he does I'll post it up ;)
Thnx already for your thoughts and prayers!
Chris

Thanks for the update from Jeremy, Chris. Wow, what a scare! I'm just happy he is alive and okay. I hope he'll see a specialist soon for his heart, and that soon the swelling will go down and they can safely remove the pellet from behind his eye. Thinking and sending positive thoughts for a full recovery!! Love to Jeremy, love to you all. Auntie Nan (And boys, please stop playing around pellet guns and such. Auntie Nan is getting too old for such scares.) ;-) xoxoxo Be good. :)
