Sorry Keith your outta town :P

Ok So Just for the record I'm not going to try to compete with Keith's blog about the nucks but he's outta town. So I felt I owed it to the boys to say WE WON!! Finally get that monkey off our backs were 1 and 3 Good game tonight. Good skating tonight digging, and good penalty kills. D.Sedin "almost" got a hat-trick that'd be sweet. I know what most of you are thinking "Give it up its still pre season games.. I know I know but I couldn't help but get all stressed out when we went into double shoot-outs.

I'm probably going to get some heat for this but I'm worried about Naslund, don't get me wrong I LOVE the guy but when we traded Bertuzzi I'm afraid the magic went with him. I mean the chemistry of that line was one we can only dream of. I know things weren't the same since the Avalanche incident, but given time... We'll see though. Another one I'm not sure about is Luongo... Sure he's the Winner of the Michael Bossy Trophy, 1996-97, and he's a member of gold medal-winning Team Canada, 2004 IIHF World Championships. He's also landed a record in the NHL on March 25th 2004 with 2219 saves in a single season, and maybe he's compared to greats like Roy and Broduer (I really dispise Brodeur but he is what he is...) Ok.. Maybe with Stats like that one can't help but like him. I could go on with the list btw but I won't. I just need to really see him step it up for the boyz. I'm gonna give him a chance but I'm skeptical.

Anyways GREAT game tonight here's the details:

Christy says: "Time to update your blog"

Friday, September 22, 2006
I guess its been awhile so maybe I should be posting something :P I did warn all of you that I'm not an avid blogger. I only get urges to write something once in awhile. A lot has gone on since my last blogging incedent. My wife and I went to Prince George for a youth confrence. It was an amazing God time, it was also good to see friends and family. We ended up not bringing Tristan this time, our good friends Adam&Char said that they would take him last min, so we decided that the car was going to be squishy enough as is maybe its best to take them up on that offer.(We'll make it up to you guys but seeing as you have 3kids maybe we'll only do 2 days instead of 4 haha) It was great to come home to Tristan we sure did miss him, and he missed us when he saw me he ran right to me and wrapped his arms around my neck and didn't want to let go. On monday we went for our first Ultra Sound, the "technician" wouldn't say for sure what the sex of our baby "boy" was cause he wasn't 100% certain, but he did say "genitals and scrotum" haha. The best part was me telling Christy and the tech what was going on. I knew right away cause "Zak" <-- Might be baby's name was sucking his thumb and the other hand... on his penuts :P Just like his big brother! Tristan came with us and was asking if he could hold the baby haha. Cuteness monster as Christy would say. I should've broght the ultrasound pics and scanned them in. Maybe I'll do that tonight or tomorrow. Other then that not much OH wait :D I got my new hat haha I used to be a sucker for hats I'd buy a new one every month or two, lately its been one a year... Sad I know, anyways I love my hats so I bought a new one. Had to order it from the states but thats saweet cause now I'm the only one in Terrace (at least I better be) that has this hat!

Ok other then that HOCKEY IS STARTING!!! I can't hardly wait the Canuckle heads have had a couple preseason game, they lost 3-1 and 4-3 BUT and this is a BIG BUT. They only had 3 veteran NHL players the rest were guys from the farm. Against Calgary who ran pretty much thier full NHL line! The 4-3 loss was against the Sharks :( Sucks but I guess we gotta give the team time to find thier game? New line up guys gotta get used to one another. Here's to hoping this isn't a reflection of what the season will be like. Yay for Hockey!! AHHHH I can't wait!! Tristan and Daddy can watch Hockey!!! Then when baby "Zak" is born he'll join Tristers and Daddy.
Now only if some of the boyz around here would get into Hockey like I did.. I swear I need to move up to Mackenzie cause I know Keith would watch the games with me. Bunch of n00bs here Keith they don't even like hockey :( For a link to Keith's "Insane Canucks Fan Blog" Check my side bar :D

Thanks for the blog bro, now I don't need to post the roster and stuff :D For those of you who are die hards please watch his blog for updates comments and pre/post game chats. I know that once Tommy gets home I'll have my hockey buddy back!
GO CANUCKS GO!!

Life in the "Fast" Lane

Thursday, September 07, 2006
So as most of you have probably heard, Christy and I have bought our first home. It's a nice little trailer and were getting a KILLER deal on it. Yes you officially can call us "Trailer Trash" on October 1st hehe. I'm gonna be gettin me some tighty whitey's and a wife beater, I'll have to drink more beer and sit on my front porch waiting for the lawn to grow taller then the VW. In all seriosness though we have been truly blessed, although at first I was reluctant and didn't want to do it. In the end my pregnant wife wins, and I'm actually getting excited about it as well. I get to FINALLY mount the TV properly, thank God for 0 finger prints. I'm going to do my office up nice, and Christy said "You should put some of your Coke stuff in the house" Even though I did before, now she wants it around a bit, instead of dreading it haha.

The crapppy thing about all of this as you probably also read on my wife's blog we seem to always do this when were expecting, yes for those of you that read my blog and not her's my wife and I are expecting our second child. We couldn't be more thrilled. The crazy thing is I'm at work from about 5:40 till close to 5:00 every day. Then, of course to make things more interesting, this coming weekend we have a big confrence at our church, the following week were going to Prince George for 180 which is a youth retreat which we've gone to for the last 4yrs this will be the 5th year. So that leaves me 1 weekend to pack the house and move it. Now because were moving into a trailer... and because I'm a bit of a pack rat, ok ok a lot of a pack rat. I hate throwing things away, granted I've got some stuff that I'll NEVER use again I do have some stuff that just can't be thrown away. Any time that I've tossed something like this I've needed it like the next day or week or whatever. So I've got LOADS of crap that I have to go through... I already tossed some paper work that I wish I didn't and its to late, its on the curb waiting for the garbage guys to pick it up and I'm sitting an hour away trapped at work.

Anyways we are truly thankful and feel very blessed to have this opportunity to get into the trailer and actually be able to call it our own, no longer paying rent to someone else but investing into our future. Our plan is to live in the trailer for two years or so, sell it and look for a house. So I've gotta get to work now... It seems like its going to be a crAzy day. Later all

Happy Birthday KIKI
